What is Ecdysterone?
Ecdysterone is a naturally occurring hormone found in plants and animals. Studies have shown that Ecdysterone may promote an increase in lean muscle mass and an improvement in overall strength.

What Makes Our Ecdysterone Formula Unique?
Our Complexed Ecdysterone is a more bioavailable form of Ecdysterone. What does that mean? Bioavailability determines how much of a supplement can be absorbed by the body to be used properly. There are many factors that impact bioavailability. For some compounds, their bioavailability is dramatically impacted by how water soluble they are. As Ecdysterone is a lipophilic compound with low solubility in water, it faces poor absorption issues in the gut. Absorption in the gastrointestinal tract is contingent on a molecules water-solubility.
Why is ours the most bioavailable? This is because on a molecular level we are able to encapsulate the Ecdysterone in a compound called Hydroxypropyl-β-Cyclodextrin which acts as a shell to increase water solubility and support enhanced bioavailability. Studies have shown over 100x enhanced solubility of Ecdysterone when complexed with cyclodextrins.
Many companies will claim that their product is complexed with Hydroxypropyl-β-Cyclodextrin. However, you cannot simply put Ecdysterone and Hydroxypropyl-β-Cyclodextrin into a capsule and call it "complexed". Preparing the supramolecular inclusion complex of Ecdysterone is a sophisticated, time-intensive and expensive process. The literature supports a significant increase in water solubility and bioavailability when the Ecdysterone is complexed correctly. This is not accomplished by simply mixing the two ingredients together and shoving them into a capsule.
